Final Artist Statement

this is my final Artist statement, and i feel the most successful photo that i did was the surrealism picture. even though it did not turn out the way i imagined in my mind but it came really close to it. the thing im really struggle with at first was the to how to cut the cliff from my painting and make it a part of my surreal project. also, i learned how to made a floating island through some tutorials on the internet. even though mine turned out not as perfect as it suppose to be, but i will work more on it to perfect that technique.
my favorite thing that i learned from this class have got to be how to use the camera. i always wanted to do the picture of peoples drawing with glow stick on their hand like in the sprint commercial but i do not know how, thanks to this lesson, now i know how to mess with shutter speed and ISO and aperture and such to do some crazy thing with my camera. plus the fact that everybody been using flash to take picture in the dark and creating the awkward lighting situation, i learned to use the ISO function to lighten up the picture without using the flash and the picture i took of my aunt blowing out her birthday cake was pretty awesome.
one of the project that effect my life the most was my quilts project. while doing that, it helps me looking back to my past and see how i treated my family as a kid and through that, i learn to treat my family better. looking through everyone's quilts projects, i found out that everyone been through a lot of obstacles in life and how life is a gift and we have to learn to treasure every moment we have because we do not know what might happen tomorrow. some of my favorite artists that l earned about in class were Leonardo Da Vinci, Donatello and Dali, their art are so amazing and it's priceless. some are creative and some are creepy(especially Dali's works) but it all seems so interesting.
i think that i have learn to use phtoshop better since the first time i mess with it of course. one of the favorite project that i did in class was the surrealism project. it helps me think and trying to remember and pay attention more to my dreams. because i usually do not remember anything in my dream nor care to remember it, now that i tried to remember my dreams, i can see that my imagination can be really creative sometimes.

Blow out and Panning

For the Panning the ISO was 125 and the appeture is F2.8 and the shutter speed is 1/13. Now for the blow out the ISO was 50 and the appeture F8 and the shutter speed is 1/6. You create the blow out effect by changing the ISO and the shutter speed and the appeture. the best way to make a blow out picture in my opinion is turn up shutter speed and lower the ISO, by doing that you allow more time for the light to travel through the picture but at the same time limit it by turning down the ISO. panning is when you are taking a picture of a moving object and it will blur out everything except the subject and it is really difficulf to take a panning picture perfectly. to take a panning picture, you will have to turn the shutter speed to 1/2 a second because it will take sometime for it to follow your moving emphasis and focus on it. my best way to do a panning is when your emphasis moving super slow and all you need to do is have the camera on auto and slowly folow the emphasis with the camera. the panning picture are difficult to take because everything is happening in a split second

Shutter Speed

Shutter speed what it does is that you can use this in the dark and you using a flash light or some sort of light that you can use to make yourselves seem inside a bright place. when you are trying to take a shutter speed picture, your background have to be dark and you will need a light source to be able to make shapes and letters for the picture. i would change the shutter speed because i want my picture to capture the pattern that the light source are moving that's why we can draws figures with it on the picture. plus i would raise the ISO so that there will be more light in the picture because the background is dark. my favorite one is the one that they draws the name "Brisa" in the picture because it turns out awesome and the letters really has its shapes.
